General description : This is the famous Conn 26M VIII 'Connquerer' alto sax, in almost new condition! Definitely a relacquer, but extremely well done. This one has nickel plated keywork. These are very free blowing horns! Lots of power, fast ergonomic keywork and a full sound. The VIII model is the best of the best and can withstand all tests with any saxophone. Highly sought after and still played by professional players these days..... Not that many were made. This one can be dated to mid 1940, around the start of WW2 in Europe.
Condition : Overhauled by previous owner in 2005. This horn is in very good condition, without damage. Just have a look at the pictures : no dents, no repairs, only 2 minor dings.
