Artikel: Conn C-Melody ChuBerry / Transitional

Type : ChuBerry / Transitional
Serial : M236630
Year : end 1929
MRO ID : CS01
General description : I´ve never seen a Conn C-melody in this early Transitional version, to be honest… It was built around the Great Depression time (end of 1929) and is probably one of last C-melody horns that Conn produced. It has the standard Conn bell engraving, low B and Bb key on opposite sides of the bell, and also the ChuBerry style neck and keywork. Further details: matt silver-plated body, silver plated keywork, rolled tone holes, gold wash bell, neck with micro tuner.
It plays and sounds like a ChuBerry, only with minor keywork modifications (sculptured E).
Condition : The sax is in mint/museum condition, with no dents, damage or wear. Tone holes are not flattened and in original condition. No rust marks. The keywork has no silver wear. The bell engraving is perfect and just beautiful! The neck is in mint condition, with fully functional microtuner. All locking screws are present.
This alto was overhauled a couple of years ago by it´s previous owner. The pads (with plastic resonators) are in almost new condition.
This unique saxophone can use a good cleaning: I´ll leave that to the new owner.
It comes with the original case and end plug, also in great condition.
