General description : Gold plated versions of a Conn soprano are extremely rare. This one has the finish ´0 ´: heavily gold plated with the bell richly engraved. This is also known as the ´Artist` finish. This is probably not a Stenberg engraving.
This is one of the last ones of the New Wonder series 1 soprano´s. Conn changed it into the New Wonder Series 2 a couple of months later, around serial 144000.
Condition : This baby was completely overhauled in 2024, with metal resonators. It´s in museum condition: no damage or repairs. There´s a faint evidence of a light dent: that´s all. It comes with a Buescher vintage case and the original Conn mouthpiece.
