General description : This 10M Ladyface was built end 1936 and is the sought-after pre-war 10M Ladyface, with rolled tone holes and the T-cup octave pip. These are terrific horn to play, very free blowing! Lots of power, fast ergonomic keywork and a full sound.
Condition : This is clearly a relacquer, but well done. The engraving is well visible so no buffing was done. The horn shows some signs of previous repairs: all professionally done. The bell / body connection shows soldering, so the bell was removed once for some reason. Tone hole are original and not damaged. Some small dings on the bottom bow section, as usual. The body is straight. This is a very good looking horn, and it was overhauled end of 2024. It needs alignment on some of the keys only.
