General description : Here we have one of the pre-war 6M VIII models with serial 288895, build early 1940. The 6M VIII model was introduced early 1937 and has a slightly different neck compared to the standard 6M. Highly sought after, as these 6M´s are supposed to have the best intonation. A pristine example is hard to find these days. This one definitely has the original lacquer, with only light wear on body and keywork. It has a unique vintage look. The Ladyface engraving is well beautiful and crisp sharp.
