Yet another unique vintage Conn alto saxophone at MROsaxophones! This is a rare example from the Transitional period: the transition phase from the ChuBerry to the 6M. Not only is this one in near mint condition, it is also the most sought-after model with the so-called Art Deco engraving. These were built in limited numbers in 1930 and 1931, first in the B and Bb key version according to the ChuBerry model and later in the B and Bb key version according to the 6M model.
Even more unique : we have two copies of this model in the collection : AS76 and AS100. Both were built at the end of 1930 and the serial numbers are only a few tens apart. Probably both saxes are from the same batch and were built at the same time....
Both saxes are in excellent condition, overhauled a few years ago and have had a complete service. All information and many photos can be found under the respective descriptions at ´Occasions´.

Update 13 Oct 2022 : engravings of both saxes show slight differences. Shape and size are slightly different. It is therefore quite possible that both saxes were given their fine engravings by different engravers.....
