Alto Conn New Wonder I - Gold Plated

A very special sax is this Conn alto saxophone, built in December 1923. It's almost identical to the ChuBerry, which was introduced a few months later. Difference: the finger nail Gis key on the ChuBerry ..... A very limited number of these saxes were delivered in the gold plated version. they are rare and sought after. Often they have a very beautiful and unique engraving: this one has the standard Conn engraving which is slightly larger and more extensive. This sax is in extremely good condition, without wear or damage! And most importantly: it plays like a dream! ...... What a sound and power!
