General : The Buffet Crampon RC is the standard pro-model from Buffet Crampon since 1975, and it's still in production. Lots of information can be found on internet. These older ones have a top-quality grenadille wooden body, way better then a modern RC. The sound is very warm and open. It plays easy through all registers and tunes very well. This is the Full Boehm version, with range to low E flat and all extra keywork options. Not many of these were made......

Condition : This instrument has been used professionally and is in good condition, with no damage to the body. The silver plated keywork has some wear : see the many pictures below. No cracks or previous repairs! It had a complete overhaul in march 2017, using white Roopads. It features the adjustable thumb rest.

Technical info : Bore 14.90 - 14.50 mm (measured) : Barrel = 62.2 mm : Tuning A = 442 Hz.

Delivery : This clarinet comes with a special Buffet Crampon case, in very good condition.

Overhaul : Completely overhauled in march 2017, using white Roopads.

Warranty : 1 year full warranty.
