General description : The Buescher TrueTone series IV is one of the most sought after vintage soprano´s. It has a unique warm sound, completely different to a Conn soprano. It also has a different bore. Many famous jazz artists played a Buescher soprano, including Sidney Bechet. These horns are keyed to high F.
Condition : This saxophone is in great original condition. No damage, dents or repairs. Only a couple of small dings. The pads are still the original Snap-in pads and probably need to be replaced during the overhaul. The silver plating is tarnished but almost fully intact. It should polish up nicely after some magic cleaning. We polished up the bell section to show it´s beauty. Gold wash bell and original rollers are all intact. The body is straight.
